Worst 5 minutes of my life!

Well, a parents worst nightmare came true today for me. Nathan went missing! Michael picked me up from work today and left Nathan with Nana. Nathan went out the front door that wasn't closed completely and was wandering around in the street. Nana and Uncle Ethan went out for dinner and assumed that Michael had Nathan when they didn't find him in the house. Meanwhile the Neighbors found Nathan and called the police. Michael and I get home and nobody's home. After calling Nana and discovering that she didn't have Nathan we started to freak out. We ran outside to start checking around the block and what not. Michael found him with a group of neighbors down the street. They called the police! and they wouldn't let us hold him until Nana showed up. I was so scared I didn't know what to do. Well, the policeman was very understanding (he luckily had kids himself) and said that he would just be entering our information. Although he did say that he was required to alert CPS, that we shouldn't lose any sleep over it because Nathan didn't look malnurished or beaten. (Anyone who has even picked Nathan up knows he sure isn't malnurished and I just have to say Thank Heaven Nathan didn't have any scabs or bump marks on him today!) So, we might be getting a call from CPS as a check up. Needless to say, lesson learned!! I'm still shaky over the whole thing.
