Mary Kay

I am now a consultant for Mary Kay. I decided I wanted to get into something that I could do from home to bring in a little money and to also have my own spending money. I've been wanting to be able to contribute to the income but not wanting to leave Nathan so when we were at the fair the other day looking at the boothes and the Mary Kay ladies were there. I need the survey to get the 10% discount for free and decided I'd look into signing on. So here I am. I just bought my first inventory set and hopefully things will go well. My recruiter is LDS so I'm very comfortable with her and the director over me is a 27 year old stay at home mom with a baby and one on the way-very encouraging. Plus I'm getting $113 worth of products matched to me for free! Yeah!!!!

Primerica

Michael has recently joined the Primerica team. This is a financial management company. They sell life insurance, set up retirement and saving investment accounts and help families with debt management. Michael is going to work part time for them along with his balloon business. We are really excited about this. The people are great. They welcomed us and we met so many people. The thing I was really impressed by was how many couple had babies and kids. Nathan was a hit. So anyways, we have life insurance and a retirement plan through them and are very happy. Click on the title of this blog to link to their website. I highly recommend them. Life in General

Wow it's been awhile! So here we are in California. Michael is finishing his degree with an internship here. We are saving to hopefully buy a home in a few years. We are looking forward to a few things this summer. Michael and I won two free nights at a hotel for certain cities so we are going on a trip just with us to San Franciso for three days in a few weeks. We are totally psyched. We don't get a lot of time by ourselves with Nathan around now. Michael got a restaurant and a miniture golf place to do balloons at and holy cow do californians pay good. We are doing really good.
