Homeschooling
So, I've been thinking alot about homeschool lately. I really want to homeschool my kids. Being trained as a teacher and working in the schools, I have seen the pros and cons of public school. My reasons for wanting to homeschool are mostly social but also I really feel like I can give them an as good or better education. I have the education and skills to do so and since their my children I know them the best and can give them the challenges and support that they individually might need. I really wish my friends that are considering this too could all live in the same city as me so we could hookup and teach together. It would be so fun and would allow our kids to socialize together and also learn values and things that public schools would never allow to be taught in the classroom. I'm curious to know what you think, leave a comment or two.

Alene I think you should just let them go to public school and let them have more friends tha njustthe lds ones and then they'll have a normal life an know what the world is like and not isolated in their house all day long. ok bye love sarah
you don't even know! lol
I too am considering homeschooling. There are so many home schooled children who are very sociable. I worry about my children regretting being home schooled though so I will make it their choice.
Just like you, I feel like I could give my children a better education at home than a public school will give them. I make curriculum's for them right now even though they are only one and two. Sariah could point to each letter of the alphabet and say what it was at 25 months (I have a video on facebook and my blog) and Rebekah could count to 10 at 17 months.
I am also considering charter schools. It is a tough decision but I hope I make the right choice.
move to tucson than i will consider letting you homeschool my kids.
